Time

First wow two days in a row!!!

Time seems to be a good topic here of late, like why can baby bug fall asleep at a reasonable time? Or, Why am I sitting her blogging when I have to get the meat loaf in the oven on time.

A good friend was talking about an article he read, that talked about the downsides to some super powers, and he highlighted immortality. Stating that from a child's prospective 30 seems like ages away but to an adult childhood seems like yesterday. (note that statement was paraphrased from his paraphrase.)

What can you remember that seemed like it took forever and what about something that seemed to go by really fast?

It took forever to get to my wedding date, and now it seems like the first year has flown by, I mean it will have been one year since we got married on January 23. Where did it go, well we where anticipating the birth of our baby girl and a move. Now I cant believe that it has been 3 months since she was born, gah and I worry about her sleeping. -sigh-

Meat Loaf is calling.

Check it out, he is a good read and makes you think.

Writing a Letter

How long has it been since you wrote a letter? Seems like ages huh, what with email and cell phones no one has the energy to sit down a write a letter anymore. Well I am writing a letter, the recipient? my Grandmom. She seemed like the best option, since she takes the time to send us cards with her own hand writing in them. The most recent being her card to us for the birth of our baby girl Rikku and some cute clothes that I am hoping that she will get to wear!

I may write another letter to a special little brother, filled with encouraging words and helpful tips.

So how about it when was the last time you wrote a letter? Why not surprise someone special in your life with a letter.

Fire Emblem and Homeschooling

So first the little bun and I beat Fire Emblem, Radiant Dawn for the Wii (for about the 10th time) the other day, and guess what? Haar was NOT my number one "guy", to make it better he was not even in my top 5! This has been a goal of mine since about the 4th time through the game, but I alwayss get sucked into using him A LOT during Part 2: Of Countries And Kings. Ahh that was a great day and to have Rikku by my side as a co-pilot made it even better.

Since Little bun is only 2 months old I have a lot of time before school is a big thought, but lets face it, I cannot even remember where the last 2 months went so I am starting early. I have been looking into homeschooling, mostly because the time from Preschool to 5th grade kids are a big sponge, and frankly they don't get taught effectively.

I worked with my littlest sister before she started preschool, in reading using Phonics. Yeah remember that teaching tool, I do! She (little sister) is a great reader now, (currently 4th grade, I think) and her preschool teachers where impressed with her ability.
